My studio in Madrid is where everything I do at Studio Costura comes together. It is the place where I teach weekly in-person classes and weekend workshops focused on lingerie and swimwear. It is also where I record online courses, develop new patterns, and cut and sew my own personal projects. For me, the studio is like a second home—one I care for with intention and respect.
I am deeply grateful to be able to create in such a bright, organized, and aesthetically pleasing space. Every detail is designed to support comfortable, focused work using high-quality tools. My students and I work with the same machines, threads, scissors, and materials. I firmly believe in investing in things that last, and in creating an environment where sewing is a positive, inspiring, and enriching experience for everyone involved.
The studio is equipped with high-quality machinery from internationally recognized brands, selected according to my personal criteria after many years of professional experience in the industry. During classes, you have access to:
• Four advanced domestic sewing machines with speed control for maximum comfort while sewing (Janome, Necchi)
• An industrial sewing machine for advanced students seeking a higher-level garment construction experience (Juki)
• Two overlockers for clean, polished seam finishes and sewing with knit fabrics (Brother, Necchi)
• A coverstitch machine for professional finishes on knit garments (Janome)
• An industrial steam ironing station (Battistella)
Every tool used in the studio during classes has been chosen to ensure comfortable, efficient, and functional work. From fabric scissors, rulers, rotary cutters, and cutting tables, to a range of fabric markers adapted to different materials—if a tool is essential to complete your sewing project, it is available in the studio.
In the studio, you will find a wide variety of samples to inspire your own projects. There are fully finished garments available to explore different construction techniques, fabric drape, finishing details, and pattern choices. Alongside clothing, you will find an extensive selection of lingerie, swimwear, and accessories.
Students also have access to my personal library of books related to the textile world, including sewing, patternmaking, textiles, patchwork, knitting, and embroidery.
If you are looking for a sewing space that is welcoming, beautiful, and thoughtfully cared for, I would be delighted to welcome you to my studio. You can see all class options here.
